George Pineda
Director and Head, Corporate Security and Safety
George Pineda is the Director and Head of Corporate Security and Safety for Carelon Global Solutions in the Philippines. He oversees end-to-end security and safety operations. George has extensive experience in physical security, risk assessment, emergency planning, crisis management, occupational safety, security audit and compliance, fraud investigation, and travel and event security. With this expertise, he develops, implements, and maintains global policies to ensure site safety and security.
Previously, George served as Head of the Asset Protection Division for PLDT, and held roles managing security, asset protection, and risk management for Sun Cellular, Megaworld Estate, and IBM.
George holds a bachelor’s in business management. He is also a certified fraud investigator, security trainer, campus security manager, data protection officer, as well as a business continuity-certified specialist and fraud prevention and investigation specialist. He was recognized by the Philippine Society for Industrial Security as the Outstanding Certified Security Professional of the Year in 2006.
